Guatemala

Following the trek through Yucatan embarking on a long-boat to cross the border into Guatemala brought me closer to the ruins of Tikal.

Tikal revealed itself slowly from the surrounding jungle during the course of a 5am sunrise where the increasing heat and humidity created steamy scene.

Antigua, Lake Atitlan and Pacaya provided amazing opportunities to meet the people and see what the region had to offer.
